Freedom Pride attend Soccer Academy
The 2009/10 FSC Pride has been selected and the coacing staff welcome; Scott, Wesley, JJ, Cal, Tyler, Jordan & Dom. Speed and Endurance training has begun and full-team workouts will begin with the attendance at the Soccer Academy Team Camp to be held at McDaniel College 27 July - 1 August 2008.
The Pride will begin trainning with Coach Gene 3 days per week the week of 4 August 2008, leading up to the Freedom First Scrimmage Fest on 9 or 10 August 2008 and the Thunder Soccer Club labor day weekend tournament 29-31 August 2008.
FSC Boys U13 (Fall 2008) Try-Out Dates Set
The FSC Boys U13 (fall 2008) FSC Pride will be holding try-outs in late May and early June 2008 for the upcoming Fall NCSL Season. You cannot turn 13 before 1 August 2008 to play for the U13 age group. The dates/location for the try-outs are identified below: Wednesday 28 May 2008 @ Freedom Park #2 from 6-8pm Friday 30 May 2008 @ Freedom Park #2 from 6-8pm Tuesday 3 June 2008 @ Sykesville Middle School from 6-8pm You MUST make at least 2 of the above session to be considered. Freedom Pride Looking to Add Talented Players
The 2008/09 Freedom Soccer Club (FSC) Pride are actively seeking players for the spring/fall 2008 season. The Pride are currently playing a U12 National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) Spring Schedule that will end in early June.
Freedom Pride Add Professional Trainer/Coach for Spring 2008
The Freedom Pride have secured the services of a professional trainer/coach to take over the weekly training and gameday coaching begining with the Spring 2008 NCSL season. Coach Gene Whitney brings 15+ years as a FC Frederick Soccer head coach, over 30 years of playing/coaching experience as well as multiple years as a varsity High School Coach. Coach Whitney holds a USSF "C" license as well as numerous other USSF, NSCAA licenses and courses. Coach Whitney also brings with him numerous soccer contacts, show-case tournament experience and college recruiting contacts and experience.
